Sunday 8th of Janauary and the first Autojumble of 2023, we left Ruislip at 5.45am heading for the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport in Enfield.
We arrived at Whitewebbs at 6.30am and waited for a space to unload the VW Transporter into the event hall, where we joined a lot of familiar faces setting out their stand and items for sale.
We had just finished setting up and the first enquiry, and sale of the day happened, a Whitewebbs member purchased the illuminated Esso Blue lightbox, that we recently had pat tested, and new bulbs and plug fitted.
Our second sale of the day came at midday from a gentleman who had been to look at the recently acquired Riley enamel sign, and came back to purchase it, another sign finds its new forever home.
At 12.30pm the heavens opened and all the outside pitches packed up and headed for home, as did we.
Just couple of people to thank as we enter another year, a big thank you to Sami of SAMI DESIGNS for his help and guidance in putting the website into a readable format, thank you to my Grandson Tyreke for his help and for putting up with me, and finally thank you to “Car Seat Covers Direct” for helping provide a new non slip floor for our trusted VW Transporter, hope to see you all this year.
Stay well, Stay safe and try to be Happy
