Leaving Ruislip at 5am on Saturday 28th May we headed for the M25, the VW Transporter loaded with some quality signs and memorabilia as the sun rose we drove towards Enfield.
Leaving the M25 at junction 25 we took the A10 towards The Playing Fields on the Great Cambridge Road, we arrived on site at 6am, and were greeted by the Security team, who directed to Automobilia entrance, where we were at the front of the queue, it was not long before we were joined by a selection of vans and cars waiting for the 7am entry time.
At 7 am the gates were unlocked and we drove down the tree lined avenue looking for Site A13, no sooner had we found our pttch, and positioned the van, we were approached By a number of people wanting to look in the rear of the van.
We unloaded the tables and put our custom table cover in place, I then set about unwrapping and unloading the signs we ahd brought to sell, by 9.00 am we had already sold the Quinton Hazell acrylic lightbox and the beautiful AVON TYRES enamel sign. I was lucky the we had been given a plot under the shade of the trees, and opposite the Custom Made Carpentry stall.
We had a very busy and constructive day, we made many new contacts, and I sold six of The signs we brought with us, we packed everything away, at 5pm we headedback to the M25 and were back in Rusilip by 6pm. It left time to wash the van, unload the stock, clean and put them back on the shelf until the next event.
I hope that we were able to help you find the sign you were looking for, if not please visit www.qandsmemorabilia.co.uk or give me a call on 07507 039991.
